Jewellery Category:

Lab Grown Diamonds: Ensure care is taken with gemstones and diamonds as they are more fragile. Keeping them secure in a pouch or box can prevent any scratches or harm to your jewelry. Ocassionally, to clean simply use a mix solution of warm water and mild dishwashing agent soak for 5-10mins then buff lightly with a polishing cloth.

Pearls & Opals are very delicate so its best to keep them away from chemicals such as bleach, solvents and chlorine. If it does come into contact with chemicals, rinse it in water immediately. Bathe and apply any lotions or perfumes before you put your jewellery on. Organic gemstones like pearls and opals are particularly vulnerable to acids, even perspiration. To clean, avoid soaking the pearls or opals in water, as this can damage the stone and weaken the pearl. Instead, to clean briefly rinse the jewellery under warm running water and then dry it immediately with a soft polishing cloth.

Gold Vermeil & 925 Sterling Silver should be kept in a cool and dry place. Natural oxidization can happen with the jewellery being exposed in direct sunlight or chemicals, so please try to avoid leaving your jewellery in a open space. If however they are stored for long-periods of time, occasional cleaning is recommended to maintain luster. To clean, polish your jewellery regularly with a soft cloth to remove any tarnish or dirt. For a more thorough clean you can also use gentle dish soap and warm water for 5-10mins. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials to clean your jewelry, as these can scratch or damage the metal.

Maintenance Guide:

  1. •    Protect and store your jewellery in the original packaging to prevent minor damages such as scratches and tangles. Avoid storing your jewelry in hard plastics, leather, felt, and most synthetic fabrics. These materials can trap moisture and cause the jewellery to lose it's shine and luster.
  2. •   Ideally It's best to remove your jewellery before exercising, especially if you're doing physical activity that involves contact with equipment or other people. Jewellery can get scratched, pulled, snagged, or snapped. It can also get caught on things during vigorous exercise, like dangling earrings, large rings, or long necklaces. Rings can also get distorted from weight-lifting or other heavy duty exercise. Additionally, sweat and moisture can cause metals to corrode over time if care is not taken.
  3. • Chemicals in skincare products, swimming pools, and natural springs can cause your jewelry to tarnish, discolor, or corrode. You can also try to avoid applying perfumes, creams, or other chemical-based liquids while wearing your jewellery.
  4.  •  Alternatively, try to remove your jewellery before daily tasks because they are very delicate and can be damaged when tugged or pulled. We also recommend that you remove your jewellery before bed to avoid scratches, bends, and broken pieces, especially for delicate items like necklaces and gemstones.
  5. •  Try to avoid contact with boiling hot water and chemical fluids containing ammonia, chlorine or alcohol. These types of liquid can damage both the plating and gold jewellery by breaking down the surface over time.
